Title: Borel Reducibility of Analytic Equivalence Relations

Abstract:

It is known by a result of Friedman and Stanley that there is no
Borel equivalence relation to which every other Borel equivalence
relation is Borel reducible; however, there are analytic equivalence
relations to which every analytic equivalence relation (and hence
every Borel one) is reducible, and the same is true for co-analytic
equivalence relations. I will discuss the class of analytic
equivalence relations to which every Borel equivalence relation is
reducible, and show in particular that there is no minimum such
  relation.
