Abstract:

  This will be a report a Special Session at the Midwest Sectional
  Meeting of the American Mathematical Society, October 23-34, 2004,
  in Evanston, Illinois.  The title of the session is "Computability
  Theory and Applications".  Note: In this context, "computability
  theory" means "recursion theory".
