Series: Penn State Logic Seminar Date: Tuesday, February 11, 2003 Time: 2:30 - 3:45 PM Place: 113 McAllister Building Speaker: Stephen Binns, Penn State, Mathematics Title: Small Pi01 Classes Abstract: A new property of Pi01 sets, smallness, is described. Motivated by the Hausdorff dimension of subsets of the Cantor space, this property turns out to be invariant under recursive homeomorphims and to have nice connections to the Medvedev lattice. Other similar properties are described and questions raised as to their significance to the Medvedev and Muchnik lattices.
